Cascade STEAM is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving STEAM Education, Career Connected Learning, Digital Literacy, and Digital Equity for all people of all ages.
STEAM is an acronym for the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. STEAM education is a powerful framework to promote curiosity and creativity, encourage a shared learning experience, and build tools to solve important life challenges. We advocate through development and promotion of events, activities, and programs, and invite collaboration with community partners in shared purpose.

In alignment with organization purpose, mission, and values, we will facilitate engagement with the community to:
The organization is comprised of a Board of Directors and Board Committees, with individuals representing (1) the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, (2) education, industry, local government, and nonprofit sectors, and (3) community interests. Refer to our volunteer leadership and partners for current leadership members and collaborators.
Board and Committee Members are welcomed via invitation from the Board President upon approval by the Board of Directors. Board and Committee Members serve in a volunteer capacity indefinitely, until either resignation or dismissal. All official Board activity will be delivered in writing by the Board President, including invitation, acceptance, resignation, and dismissal.
Committees assist in creation and management of core organization tasks. Committees are designed to be led by a board member, and be composed of board members, committee members, and community members. Objectives are determined by agreement between the Board of Directors and each respective committee. Input and participation from the community is crucial and welcomed to ensure alignment of community interests.
